Until 1965, more than 76,000 cars of this type were built. Fifty years later, Automuseum PROTOTYP presented a selection of very important Porsche 356 cars, which were displayed in this compilation for the first time: from the oldest still existing Porsche production cars up to the exotic racing versions from the early 1960s.

Two recently rediscovered cars were shown for the first time: the oldest surviving Porsche 356 made in Germany as well as one of the 17 legendary America Roadsters, which were especially built for the USA in the early 1950s.
