From October 10 to November 2, 2025, the PROTOTYP automotive museum in Hamburg’s HafenCity will dedicate a special exhibition to the Citroën DS, affectionately known as thegoddess.” The occasion is the 70th anniversary of its world premiere on October 6, 1955, at the Paris Motor Show. With its avantgarde design language and forwardlooking technology, the DS set new standards and is still considered a milestone in automotive history.
Under the title “70 Years of Citroën DS,” five extraordinary vehicles are presented, illustrating the diversity and mythology of this model:

The spectacular replica of the flying FantômasDS
An original 1969 DS 21 Pallas
A very rare 1972 Chapron Coupe DS 21 “Le Léman

Largeformat historical photographs, including rare shots from the 1955 world premiere, as well as concise accompanying texts, convey the technical and design significance of this iconic automobile to the museum’s visitors.
The exhibition can be visited every day from 10 am to 6 pm from October 10 to November 2, 2025, because in October 2025 the museum is also open on Mondays!
