75 Years of Porsche Motorsport took center stage in our new special exhibition, “RACEBORN,” on display from July 10 to September 1, 2026. In collaboration with the Porsche Museum Stuttgart, we were presenting a selection of exceptional racing cars that trace the evolution of Porsche Motorsport from its beginnings through to the modern hybrid era.

The exhibition cars:

  • 1952 Glöckler-Porsche
  • 1953 Mathé-Porsche MA-01 “Fetzenflieger”
  • 1960 Porsche 718/2 F1
  • 1962 Porsche 804 F1
  • 1968 Porsche 908 LH Coupé
  • 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 RSR IROC
  • 1987 Porsche 962 C
  • 2009 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (Type 997)
  • 2013 Porsche 919 Hybrid “Rollout”
  • 2016 Porsche 911 RSR (Type 991)

The special exhibition told stories from 75 years of Porsche Motorsport – from extraordinary events and legendary races to exceptional drivers and groundbreaking technological developments. It highlighted the close connection between innovation and competition that has defined Porsche throughout its history.

For Porsche, motorsport has traditionally served as a development laboratory under extreme conditions. Many technical solutions that had to prove themselves on racetracks around the world later found their way into production cars. At the same time, the history of Porsche Motorsport is also the story of numerous customer teams that, over the decades, have played a decisive role in the brand’s international success.

With “RACEBORN – 75 Years of Porsche Motorsport,” we invited everyone to rediscover key chapters of this success story through a selection of iconic vehicles and the stories behind them.
