Automuseum PROTOTYP celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911 with this special exhibition and invited the visitors to experience how this type became such a legend. The exhibition showed selected cars to demonstrate the versatility of this sports car type: from the prototypes to the street and racing variants of the 911 to the superlatives.

Objectivity and emotion, tradition and progress, animal power and precise control … Apparent contradictions get together in the Porsche 911 and therefore create a fascination that made the 911 become a legend.

for example the 1959 Porsche 754 T7 prototype, a 1965 Porsche 911 Targa prototype, a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RSR, a 1986 Porsche 959 “Paris-Dakar” and a 1998 Porsche 911 GT1.
