Automuseum PROTOTYP presented in collaboration with the Archives Thomas Trapp and Reinhold Kraft a special exhibition about the eventful life of Ernst Neumann-Neander.  Special highlights were the motorcycles from the 1920s and 1940s and the driving machines, which Ernst Neumann-Neander built in the late 1930s.

The vehicles on display

  • 1924 Deutschlandfahrt motorcycle
  • 1929 pressed steel motorcycle
  • 1935 three-wheeled driving machine
  • 1937 driving machine
  • 1949 “Motorkatze” (“motor cat”) motorcycle

Ernst Neumann-Neander still amazes today. Contrasts play an important role in his life, in which he played with social and professional contrasts, as well as in his body of work, whether on his billboards, in his automotive design or in the vehicle he built.
