February 2017 – The BMW Art Cars stand for perfect harmony of art and technology. The expert talk on 09.02.2017, moderated by specialized journalist Wolfgang Blaube, with Dr. Thomas Girst and Prof. Florian Borkenhagen has offered entertaining and interesting insights. Dr. Thomas Girst has been a member of the BMW Art Cars for many years and is head of the BMW Group’s cultural management department as well as the publisher of the BMW Art Car standard work.
Specialized journalist Wolfgang Blaube discussed with him and Florian Borkenhagen, German artist, designer and professor of design, the various aspects of the BMW Art Cars. We heared amazing stories about the exciting early days of the BMW Art Cars and their participation in racing events as well as the presentation of the latest BMW Art Cars in Florida. At the end of the evening a guided tour of the special exhibition was part of the program.
