Exhibition about the architectural history of our building at InfoCenter Kesselhaus
From July 5 to August 12, 2018, the exhibition “A Pioneer of the HafenCity” at the InfoCenter Kesselhaus will offer a visual journey through time. The timeline shows by numerous photos stations of the unique building at Shanghaiallee 7, which started out in 1836 as a walking cane factory, then became a hard rubber company and – after various interim uses – in 2004 was listed as a historic building and in 2008 got refurbished and modernized as the PROTOTYP car museum, representing a valuable element of HafenCity. In addition, visualizations will give a first impression of what the planned augmentation, which is based on historical plans, will look like once completed in 2019. There is no admission fee to the exhibition “A Pioneer of the HafenCity” at the InfoCenter Kesselhaus (Am Sandtorkai 30) and open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00.
