At the “KönigsKlasse” special exhibition at Automuseum PROTOTYP the photographs from the Sayn-Wittgenstein-Collection told of the kings of the race track.

The kings of the race track are the race drivers in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. Princess Marianne Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn as a passionate photographer portrayed racing legends such as Juan Manuel Fangio, Wolfgang Graf Berghe von Trips, Jochen Rindt and Niki Lauda.

These photos are no arranged portraits, but rather moments, which show the drivers waiting for the start, merging in their cars and living their passion. On display alongside the photographs were also racing cars, such as a Lola T-550 Holbay-Abarth Formula 2 from 1977.
